Strategic Planning
Our Approach to Strategic Planning
Remmell Consulting partners with your board and senior management to dream of a more productive future for the community that you serve. We will create your list of short and long-term goals, create a roadmap for each goal, and clarify the metrics you will use to track your progress and measure success.

Similar to a for-profit business plan, a strategic plan is a crucially important document for any size nonprofit. Remmell Consulting incorporates feedback from many stakeholder groups to ensure a thorough evaluation. Your strategic planning process may include:

-
Assessing current programs and overall operations
-
One or more organizational analysis exercises, including updated Theory of Change or SWOT analyses models such as SOAR, NOISE, SCORE
-
Seeking feedback from program participants
-
Strategizing on organization growth and fund development
-
Planning for property acquisition and capital improvements
-
Seeking out earned revenue opportunities
During her tenure as CEO of Pro Kids, Marty Remmell created and implemented two strategic plans that launched the organization into a prosperous period of sustained growth. These plans included a complete overhaul of programming, fundraising, governance, and administration, and led to an increase in assets from $1.4m to nearly $9m and remaining debt free.
